The shave soap version of our popular Scots Pine Sheep Soap. Made with mutton tallow and lanolin, it has a calm and pleasing pine scent that is nothing like a pine oil used in cleaning products, as it has a touch of oakmoss to round out the blend. The fatty acid rich mutton tallow combined with the lanolin leave your face nourished and smooth.

Best value shaving soap (Mutton Tallow Base)

I love this workhorse of a shave soap and the company that stands behind it as Stirling Soap Co. continues to produce high quality products at very good value. The Mutton Tallow Base is my everyday go-to because I have sensitive skin and it provides a very slick shave and feels great on my face. My only regret is that they haven't converted more of their most popular scents to this base option. The Scots Pine scent is great, don't get me wrong. It smells clean, fresh, and natural (which I highly appreciate because I am sensitive to strong artificial scents as well), but I just wish the provided more variety in this great formulation.
