This past summer was HOT. I wished I had a bit more mentholated post shave product. A small sample pack of Star Jelly made my way to me. What can I say? You read praise for so many PAA products and think, what is it with these folks...is it a cult? In all seriousness, Star Jelly leaves you with a cool, just right feeling and once absorbed is silky smooth and that's it. It feels totally dry to the touch. I'd say about perfect for summer. I tend to combine it with scented aftershaves and a balm in winter. Though unscented, there is a very slight, slightly sweet scent that is detectable, but by no means a deal breaker. Once you have your scented splash, balm or frag down, any lingering scent from the jelly is erased. I can see why people pick this up in scents matching their soaps, but I only have so much room in the den!
