On a top ten list (for soaps, but inclusive of aftershave matches) this was placed number 2 on a list of date night scents. I was sceptical since I am not a fan of Floid Original. Let me tell you, if you are not a collector or frag head, this is easily worth making a signature scent. Sweet but not gourmand, spicey and masculine but still inviting. I put it in the family of YSL Le Nuit De L’Homme EDT, not the same, but a very nice profile that is a little lighter leaning more on the sweet side than spice. This is a people pleaser for sure, and as per usual feels great on skin. Really too bad if Floid Black was this good, because it was a steal price wise. It’s a shame so many classics get missed because we make assumptions, and then they are gone. For people who don’t care for clones, this is a great example of why they need to exist, and sometimes can even be improved upon.
