As mentioned before, I prefer a brush with great backbone; soft bristles with a bit of scritch; and synthetic. Perhaps all this time I've been fooling myself, for the second time I'm amazed how these PAA super-soft brushes with a wee bit of backbone and no scritch, are just as good or better than my best brushes. Strange as this sounds, I also find these brushes whip up a better lather!
Anyway, why didn't I rate this a 5 - note the photo displayed on site, then the one I've uploaded. I knew beforehand that I would love this brush, so I was going for a pleasing aesthetic look, and I've wanted an all-white bristles for the longest time. I think either the great folks at TOTC were either sent the wrong photo, or PAA sent the wrong colour. Regardless, I'm not a fan at all of the creamy-beige color. Worse yet, the upper part of the handle has that yucky colour too. I'm so disappointed that I want to rate it a 1, but I can't because the brush works like a charm. And besides, I've used it 3 times already (it's a keeper) but I try not to feast my eyes on it anymore.
P.S. My camera lightens photos than they appear. The colour is darker and no white whatsoever, just a creamy light-beige/yellow.
