After the Rain was the second scent we ever released and is very near to our hearts. Like a walk through a forest after a spring shower with notes of wet pine, muted lavender, cedar, and white pepper.
Our soap base features bison tallow (rendered from 100% grassfed bison kidney fat) and lanolin, proudly casting aside the vegan title and embracing old world traditions with an American twist.
The addition of bison tallow imparts even more slickness to our already slick soap, and combined with the emollient properties of lanolin provide a dense, silky lather and peerless post-shave experience.
But we didn’t stop there. Our new aftershave performs so well that we added the same four hand-selected botanicals from our aftershave to our soap – sea buckthorn, burdock root, white willow bark, and grape seed. These botanicals are not a gimmick – while we can’t make any specific claims about them without having to deal with the FDA, we can say that this soap is extremely forgiving of poor technique.
We even made it softer than our vegan soap formula, slightly harder than a croap, so even the floppiest brush can load with ease.
