Topofthechain.ca Instagram Contest - Official Rules

1. Eligibility

• The contest is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry.
• The contest is open to residents of US and Canada.
• Employees of topofthechain.ca, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household, are not eligible to participate.

2. How to Enter

To enter, participants must post a photo on their public Instagram profile that meets one of the following criteria:

1. "New Haul" Post: An image of a newly received order from our online store.
   • Required Tags/Hashtags:
     • Tag our Instagram account: @top_of_the_chain
     • Include the hashtag: #TOTCNewHaul
       
2. "#ShaveOfTheDay" Post: An image showcasing products from our online store being used in their shave. The products should be clearly visible.
   • Required Tags/Hashtags:
     • Tag our Instagram account: @top_of_the_chain
     • Include the hashtag: #TOTCShaveOfTheDay
       

Entrants' Instagram profiles must be public for their entry to be visible and counted. Images must be original creations of the entrant. Each participant is limited to one (1) entry per month.

3. Contest Period

The contest begins on the first day of the month at 00:00 and ends on the final day of the month at 23:59EST (the "Contest Period"). 

4. Prize

One (1) winner will receive a $50 gift card to topofthechain.ca The gift card is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Any applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

The winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The drawing will be held on or around the final day of the month. The winner will be notified via direct message on Instagram within 48 hours of the drawing. The winner must respond to the notification within 72 hours to claim the prize. If the winner fails to respond within the specified time, a new winner may be selected.

6. Publicity

By participating, entrants grant topofthechain.ca the right to use their name, likeness, and submitted content (photos) for promotional purposes related to the contest in any and all media, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

7. General Conditions

• This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram. Participants release Instagram from any and all liability associated with this contest.
• topofthechain.ca reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if any unforeseen circumstances occur that prevent the contest from being conducted as planned.
• topofthechain.ca is not responsible for any technical malfunctions, lost or delayed entries, or any other problems that may affect the contest.
• All entries become the property of topofthechain.ca .

8. Release of Liability

By participating in this contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless topofthechain.ca , and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with their participation in the contest or their acceptance or use of any prize.
