Noble Otter | Rainroot Shave Soap

I'm looking for soaps with scents that set the scene of spending time in the woods... and was really hoping that after reading Ryan's review, that this would bring me there... unfortunately not quite. I shouldn't be surprised as the world created by the scent is a lot lighter and brighter... just like the description of the product itself lol. Sweeter and brighter Bergamot, light floral, and a powdery musk. not bad at all... just not what I was hoping for. I don't know what forest you were lying face down in... not one that is outside.

The lather from Noble Otter is always good, but this is one of those scents that makes your head pull back as soon as you smell it, but then you immediately push yourself back in out of intrigue.

Once you settle into it you are immediately transported to the feeling of laying face down on the forest floor, as the sound of rain hits the leaves of the surrounding trees. Petrichor is intensely primeval, yet calming and refreshing and the same time. Noble Otter does an amazing job of recreating snapshots. I'm addicted to it!
