Murphy and McNeil | Yin Aftershave Splash

$22 $30

"Yin, Chinese for “female” or “moon,” represents darkness, femininity, passivity, and the earth. Yang (“sun” or “male”) represents light, masculinity, activity, and the heavens. The balance of yin and yang were seen to influence health and order within an individual, society, and the entire universe." - Dictionary.com

"Yin and Yang" by Murphy and McNeil is both an homage to our love of Bamboo, but also to the balance that the universe needs to thrive.  There are so many elements of our life that are both critical together, but completely separate in nature.  We are all two sides of he same coin.  Liberal v. Conservative is still American.  Race v. Race is still Human.

True harmony comes when we have the ability to be different, and yet are able to see and respect the other as necessary for our being.  One cannot exist without the other.

Nice aroma could do with more strength

If you know what bamboo in the wild smells like on a humid or rainy day then you know this is bang on. It has a light woody aroma that is very fresh and not cloying but I wish it had more depth. You can smell it but really have to work to pick up the aroma after about 30 minutes.
