We had the syrup which you would hand pump and mix with soda water. This was where my grandfather introduced me to Cherry Coka which was mixed with the cola syrup. It was amazing! My grandfather would then quickly stir it with a long spoon and sometimes scooped vanilla ice cream and added that on top.
