The Ariana and Evans line by Peter Charkalis is fast becoming one of my favorite soap bases on the market. You can’t beat the incredible performance — it’s just phenomenal across the board. The scent, based on a Grey Matter perfume, is light, tropical and not dissimilar from Stirling’s Island Man. Unlike some of A&E’s scents, this one is on the lighter side. I was hoping for a stronger punch, but that could be Grey Matter, as I haven’t sampled the actual perfume. Still, great for warmer weather.

“Sunset by the beach” is a great description for this soap. Definitely could be a lighter version of some of the Virgin Island Water themed soaps out there but more like a sophisticated version of those. I think this is a strongly scented version of a lighter fragrance soap, if that makes any sense !! Get mostly juniper and some orange, but overall just well blended to where everything comes together – kind of like the whole is better than the sum of it’s parts. Ariana and Evans is a great line of soaps, lather is great and the protection is the best.
