Muhle | Rasoir de sûreté R41 – Peigne ouvert – Or rose

This razor has a reputation for being a beast, so I waited until I was well experienced (4+ years of DE shaving; over 60 razors) before buying.
Wish I'd ordered it long ago! Definitely a very efficient razor, but I have others with more blade feel and/or a greater tendency to bite.
Go with a light touch and take your time and it will give you a beautiful, close shave. Only negative (for me) is that the handle isn't particularly grippy.
I wouldn't call this a beginner razor, but once you have the basics down, this would be a great addition - especially if you have tough whiskers.

Coming from a Merkur 34C and a Henson Mild this R41 is an absolute dream! Seriously there's not one bad thing I can say about this razor! I absolutely love everything about how it looks and performs! Great job Muhle!
