Gillette | Lames de rasoir à double tranchant Platinum, 5 lames

As usual, great service from Carmine and the Gang!!

I am 6 months into my wet shaving journey and have been using the Astra Green the entire time and was pleased with the results.

Then I tried the Gillette Platinum blades. Wow. What an incredible blade they are. At first I didn’t notice any difference until I got to my 2nd & 3rd pass. I really noticed how sharp and smooth the blade is when I went ATG (against the grain) on the cheeks and moustache. I didn’t think there was a blade in the razor it was that smooth.

I highly recommend GP blades; they are my new favourites.

Smooth and sharp is how I'd characterize these. What I've learned along the way is that your favourite blade in one razor may not be your favourite in another. I'd been struggling to find a blade for the Karve CB and so far, this is the one. I don't know what it is, but the Karve is particular with blades for me. I am sure individual coarseness of facial hair and skin sensitivity are also factors, hence YMMV always! All that aside, this blade is well worth a try and happens to be superior in all my other Razors too. The other nice thing is, they are easily available within Canada.
